Job Title: Stores Person

Location: Peterborough/Newark/ Bourne

Pay Range/details: Competitive salary

Contract Type: 6 - month Contract

Omega is supporting a leading food manufacturing business in their search for a Stores Person to join their dynamic team. This role is key to supporting the smooth running of the site, ensuring stock is managed efficiently and parts are readily available for the engineering and production teams.

Key Responsibilities - Stores Person

 

  • Manage and maintain accurate stock levels within the stores, ensuring timely ordering and replenishment of parts.
  • Issue, receive and correctly store all goods, ensuring stock is organised and easy to access.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery and availability of parts.
  • Support engineering teams by sourcing and providing the correct parts and materials as required.
  • Carry out regular stock checks and ensure the stores area is kept clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Use stock control systems to accurately log inventory movements and update records.

Qualifications & Requirements - Stores Person

 

  • Previous experience in a stores, stock control, or warehouse environment.
  • Ideally have experience or exposure to engineering parts and components.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Computer literate and comfortable using stock management systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to travel to other sites when required.

Our client specialises in I.T solutions and communication services within Government and Maritime markets.As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for 1st and 2nd line technical support on product, service and billing enquires for both maritime and land-based customers.This role is a permanent full time position based in Cornwall.  In this role you will be required to work different shifts. Maintenance Technician Location: Brierley HillContract: Permanent We are looking for a maintenance technician to carryout preventive and unscheduled maintenance to Production / Site plant and contribute to improving overall equipment effectiveness and efficiency.Role Responsibilities – Maintenance Technician Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure machines are in a safe working condition for production.Contribute to preventative maintenance development and maintenance schedules.Respond to breakdowns in a timely manager and identify route cause(s) of the breakdown and implement the corrective solution where possible.
