Our client is looking for a Sales progressor to join their family style property company. The role will involve being the main point of contact for clients and purchasers once a sale is agreed and completing contracts as soon as legally possible

Key Responsibilities - Sales Progressor

  • Clearly understand the customer's needs and desired timescales when the property is first handed over at the point of sale.
  • Verify the details of the property chain and identify any missing information.
  • Explain the conveyancing process to clients, especially first-time movers or those unfamiliar with recent changes, and set realistic expectations regarding timelines.
  • Make weekly progress calls to keep all parties informed and updated.
  • Proactively engage with solicitors to challenge delays, ask pertinent questions, and clarify what remains outstanding.
  • Communicate with solicitors and agents throughout the chain to ensure transparency and consistent expectations.
  • Request the admin team to raise the invoice to the vendor's solicitor upon exchange.
  • In cases where a sale encounters issues, involve the branch team early to help resolve them or explore alternative buyers.
  • Ensure cancellations are promptly communicated to the branch lister, who will liaise with the client before re-marketing the property.

Qualifications & Requirements - Sales Progressor

  • Exceptional communication and active listening skills.
  • Proven experience working within the property industry with a solid understanding of the conveyancing process.
  • Collaborative team player who contributes positively to group success.
  • Approachable, friendly, and consistently efficient in all interactions.
  • High emotional intelligence, demonstrating empathy, rapport-building, and a genuine focus on others' needs.
  • Skilled in building trust-based relationships that inspire confidence and generate recommendations.
  • Strong track record of delivering results, with the drive, discipline, and resilience to overcome challenges.
