This is a hands-on leadership position with responsibility for ensuring quality standards are consistently achieved, leading investigations, and acting as the primary point of contact for customer quality matters.

Main Duties Senior Quality Engineer

Leading and developing the Quality Inspection team, setting clear standards and expectationsTaking ownership of product quality, including authority to stop production where risks are identifiedDriving a right-first-time, zero-defect culture across manufacturingLeading customer-facing quality activities, including non-conformances, concessions, and investigationsConducting structured root cause analysis (e.g. 8D, 5 Whys) and implementing effective corrective actionsAnalysing quality data to identify trends and drive improvementSupporting  audits and ensure compliance with relevant standards and customer requirements

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Senior Quality Engineer

Proven experience in a senior or lead quality role within electronics, PCB manufacturing, or a similar industryStrong background in customer-facing quality and complex investigationsSkilled in root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologiesExperience leading or mentoring quality or inspection teamsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levelsFamiliarity with IPC standards and audit processes

Ensuring that correct procedures are followed for storage of materialsCarrying out stock checks and replenishing inventory as needed.Accurately picking and packing materials.Issuing parts to the production floor in a timely manner.Operating MRP/ERP systems to manage inventory and materials.Ensuring full compliance with company procedures and standards.
