Position: Handy Person

Position:  2 weeks

Location: Wellingborough

Hourly rate £18.90 per hour PAYE

Working hours: Monday to Friday 40 (flex start and finish)

We are now seeking to recruit a Handy Person to work for a busy manufacturing company based in Wellingborough

Responsibilities:

  • Completing small repairs such as fixing locks, leaky taps and broken 
  • Inspecting and troubleshooting problems and issues reported by colleagues
  • Following a maintenance schedule to ensure that all routine tasks are completed
  • Proactively involved in the on-going technical evaluation of all plant and equipment, suggestion of improvements where appropriate
  • Accurately recording and reporting of maintenance activity to ensure Key Source System is correctly updated
  • Carrying out operational and maintenance activities as directed, ensuring work is executed in a safe and suitable manner

Requirement:

  • Ideally previous experience working as a general handy person
  • Previous experience in painting, fabrication, small maintenance able to work with own initiative completing tasks
  • Available to start ASAP
