Position: Manual GrinderPosition: permanentLocation:  Willenhall Hours of work:39 i.e. Monday to Thursday 8:00 am to 05:00 pm and on Fridays 8:00 am to 1:00 pmSalary: £36500 per annumDue to our customer expansion, they are now seeking to recruit a manual grinder to work in a busy manufacturing engineering company based in Willenhall. The appropriate manual grinder will be responsible for manufacturing, repairing and assembling of complete progression tooling to technical drawings and specificationsResponsibilities: Perform tooling assembling and grinding on Jones and shipman’s, Snow and Lumsden grindersSetting and operating of all Toolroom measuring equipment.To source and obtain parts and materials as required following the procedures of the procurement systemTo maintain the relevant stock levels of spares and consumables. Requirements: Ideally previous experience in manual grinding on Jones and shipman’s, Snow or Lumsden grindersKnowledge of milling and turningAble to use measuring equipment.
