Reward - £32 – 36k Trget Band plus discounts bonus and overtime

Our client is a large multi-site manufacturing and logistics company with ongoing business growth and expansion in its business. As a result, there is an immediate recruitment for a new Warehouse and Distribution Day shift Team Leader / Front-line Manager (FLM).

This is a day’s position - 4 on 4 off days , no nights

• A motivational hands-on leader, experienced in coaching and developing a team?

• Great at multi-tasking effectively and thrive on challenge?

•As a warehouse Team Leader, reporting into the Warehouse Manager, you will manage an area of the operation in a busy distribution/warehouse hub.

You will lead and develop a small team of operatives across, achieving and exceeding your performance targets. Work within daily tight deadlines to ensure customers receive their orders.

What does a successful Dayshift Warehouse Team Leader look like?

You will allocate resources and your team effectively to maximise area output

Monitoring and driving KPIs and taking action to ensure they are all met on a daily and weekly basis

Setting performance targets, reviewing progress, and creating action plans

Spotting and developing talent in your team through coaching and guidance

You will manage team briefings to keep colleagues informed of performance targets

You will Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives in your area

 

Our Requirements: Dayshift Warehouse Team Leader

•             Experience as a team leader of warehouse frontline manager – Manufacturing/FMCG /3pl /E-Comm preferred.

•             Working knowledge of a WMS system is essential.

•             Previous supervisory experience within a similar environment

• Excellent administration and organisational skills

• Management/Supervisory experience within a large-scale production/warehouse operation

•A proven track record of people management and delivering strong results through a team in a people management role.

• Assertiveness with the ability to make decisions on the spot.

• The ability to problem solves
