Salary: £32000 up to £35800

Working hours: 37 hours Monday to Friday (early finish on Friday) 7:15 am to 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 7:15 am to 13:15 on Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen with my client. They are a successful engineering company that are offering a stable and lucrative career in their purpose build manufacturing facility. They require Mechanical Fitters, to join their growing team

The appropriate mechanical fitter would be responsible for:

  • Bespoke build of automation machineries, following technical engineering drawings
  • Assembling parts made from metals or other materials to create production equipment and machinery
  • Building assemblies and sub-assemblies
  • Build of pneumatic and hydraulics system.

Requirement of mechanical fitter:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Previous mechanical engineering experience and competence in mechanical fitting, pneumatics, hydraulics etc.
  • A good understanding of mechanical drawings and schematics
  • A desire to be part of a highly motivated team
  • Hard working
  • The knowledge of mechanical assembly and fitting from a production or engineering type background is essential and the ability to interpret basic drawings is required
