Health and Safety Manager required by a growing provider of technical services to work between sites in Blackburn and Castleford and also on site with clients. The successful Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for driving high standards, ensuring compliance, and strengthening safety culture across engineering and project delivery teams.

Main Duties: Health and Safety Manager

  • Provide health and safety leadership across multiple sites.
  • Writing risk assessments and method statements and approving construction phase plans.
  • Conducting site audits and overseeing of corrective actions
  • Lead incident response, investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Maintaining policies and procedures to maintain compliance to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
  • Delivering health and safety inductions and training
  • Supporting with internal audits to maintain ISO9001 compliance

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Health and Safety Manager

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
  • Previous experience of auditing to ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.
  • A background in a similar role ideally gained in a construction, facilities management or engineering or equivalent environment. Ideally across multiple sites.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills will the ability to influence and make changes.
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to meet the needs of the business
