My client is a global leader within the automation and packing industry who offer end to end manufacturing solutions to their clients

They are now on the lookout for Receptionist to join their team at their head office based in Swindon

Key Responsibilities – Receptionist

  • Operate the switchboard efficiently, handling calls professionally.
  • Manage a professional Reception area, welcoming visitors in a pleasant, professional, and helpful manner. Open and close Reception daily.
  • Provide administrative support across the business, including typing minutes, maintaining spreadsheets, filing, posting invoices, and internal communication and other ad hoc duties as required
  • Book travel for employees and customers, adhering to processes and budgets.
  • Maintain meeting rooms including bookings, as required, to ensure they are tidy, well stocked, and presentable.
  • Liaise with senior-level customers and candidates by phone when required, managing bookings and meeting arrangements politely and professionally.
  • Manage stationery and workwear stock levels, securing best possible pricing within budgets.
  • Process requests and forms promptly and accurately.
  • Provide holiday and emergency sickness cover for job-share colleagues as needed.
  • Order lunches and manage catering for meetings.
  • To act upon any reasonable requests for administrative support across the business.
  • Support HR and Marketing teams in planning and delivering company events.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post, operate franking machine, and distribute parcels.
  • Maintain accurate records such as staff addresses, lunch orders, and training logs.
  • Process visitor request forms (MTR), including room bookings and catering orders.
  • Deliver administrative tasks accurately and on time

Qualifications & Experience – Receptionist

  • Proven experience in a front-desk, receptionist, or customer-facing administrative role
  • Strong ability to manage high-volume phone calls and visitor inquiries professionally
  • Experience using office systems such as Microsoft Office, booking software, or CRM tools
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a busy environment

On Offer – Receptionist

  • £13.50 per hour
  • Thursdays and Fridays, from 8:15am to 5:00pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break
