B2 Licensed Helicopter Engineer Location: Shawbury Contract: Permanent We are currently working with a helicopter manufacturer based on a military flight training school. This role will report directly to the Maintenance Operations Manager. Role Responsibilities – B2 Licensed Helicopter Engineer     Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.Accomplishment of maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by nominated LAE Supervisor.Work as a team leader and to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.Completion of maintenance, including avionic and electrical systems.Replacement of avionic line replaceable units, requiring simple tests to prove their serviceability.Supervision of avionic and electrical fitters and the certification of their work.Conduct off-aircraft avionic and electrical technical work in Av workshop as required.Also required to assist in day to day running of the aircraft Hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities. The appropriate Generator Mechanic will be reporting to the Spares and Repair Manager; you will play a pivotal role in inspecting equipment returning from loan and ensuring Portable Electrical Generation equipment meets safety standards for field reuse. Your responsibilities will include producing survey reports, conducting maintenance and servicing, providing technical support to other trades, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Responsibilities: Complete Generator Maintenance and Servicing within contracted timeframes.Provide technical advice and support to other trades regarding fault investigation and generator-related matters.Conduct training and mentoring of apprentices.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.Adhere to Health and Safety regulations, COSHH, Engineering Hygiene, Risk Assessments, and safe working practices in a hazardous environment.Undertake any other reasonable tasks aligned with your knowledge, experience, and position.
