An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented HVAC Engineer to join our team as an HVAC Engineer, working with one of our major UK supermarket clients. As an HVAC Engineer, you will play a vital role in carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple retail stores, ensuring the smooth operation of commercial heating systems and air conditioning units.

Key Responsibilities - HVAC Engineer

  • Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across a number of sites
  • Servicing and repairing a range of mechanical equipment e.g. boilers, fans, pumps, AHUs, FCUs
  • Carrying out minor alterations and installations within technical competence in accordance with current specifications
  • Ordering spares to the laid-down procedures
  • Identifying non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advising the HVAC supervisor of findings with recommendations regarding suitable replacement

Qualifications & Requirements - HVAC Engineer

  • SVQ/NVQ Level 3 within Heating/Ventilation/Mechanical/HVAC or equivalent qualification
  • ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1/1A as a minimum
  • Full driving license
  • Flexibility to be part of the 24/7 on-call rota every 1:4 weeks
  • Experience using a PDA system, ability to work at heights, and work in confined spaces (or equivalent experience for candidates with
