Our client primarily work on ground mount and rooftop solar and batteries.  Role Responsibilities  – Power Systems Design Manager    Undertake and review detailed electrical design & calculations including AC/DC cable sizing, LV AC grading studies, cabinet and connection designPrepare and check Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical drawings, and predesign layouts (containment routing, elevations, etc.)Design, commission and support communication and monitoring systems, including onsite and remote supportSupport G99 and G100 applications, liaising with inverter manufacturers and ensuring complianceProduce Bills of Materials, costings, and Scopes of Works, ensuring technical and commercial alignmentLead and manage the internal design team, driving professional growth and overseeing all design projects with accountability and proactive problem-solving.Implement structured review processes and manage design variations through robust change control while ensuring quality assurance on-site and at final inspections.Coordinate with external subcontractors, suppliers, and manufacturers to maintain high standards, flexible programmes, and compliance with regulations.Provide technical support during construction, assist project management teams, and deliver clear communication to clients and stakeholders for seamless project handover.
