Key Responsibilities – Quality Manager

  • In collaboration with the Senior Management Team, lead the quality projects with clear guidelines, tasks, and milestones, while motivating and providing feedback.
  • Identify, analyze, and manage quality topics, sharing lessons learned on a regular basis.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Influencing and consulting with management within the site to innovatively shape the design and development of your functional area to improve the organization’s overall performance.
  • Ensuring appropriate internal and external communication relevant to quality management system.
  • Implementing short, medium- and long-term strategy, activities, and planning to develop the quality management system, based on identified risks and opportunities, in collaboration and agreement with the local management team.
  • Establishing a closed-loop quality cycle from product development to customer experience feedback to ensure customer requirements and expectations are met.

 

Qualifications & Experience – Quality Manager

  • Significant proven quality management and people leadership experience.
  • Ability to lead a quality team with demonstrated experience of managing changes and implementing new ways of working.
  • Proven track record of managing quality projects.
  • Collaborative, solution-oriented approach, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Budget experience is vital for this role, with an awareness of managing scrap, warranting and inventory.
  • Excellent organizational skills to plan and execute activities, considering deadlines and priorities.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate complex information and take necessary actions.
  • A chemical background would be beneficial but is not essential.
