Job Title: CNC EDM Operator

Join our clients team as a CNC EDM Operator and contribute to producing high-precision components for aerospace and industrial applications. As a CNC EDM Operator, you'll work with advanced technology to create critical parts, supporting our mission to deliver excellence in manufacturing for global industries.
Key Responsibilities - CNC EDM Operator
- Operate and upkeep CNC Electrical Discharge Machines (EDM) to achieve production targets
- Configure machines using established procedures, aiming for complete setup expertise
- Interpret technical drawings to accurately position fixtures and tooling
- Conduct quality checks using manual tools and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
- Achieve goals for productivity, quality standards, and workplace organization as set by the team leader
Qualifications & Requirements - CNC EDM Operator
- No prior EDM experience needed; comprehensive training will be provided
- Background in CNC machining is beneficial but not required
- Familiarity with the aerospace industry is advantageous but not essential
- Comfortable understanding and applying technical drawings or similar documentation
- Proficient in performing self-inspections with manual measurement tools or equivalent quality assurance methods

- Attractive starting wage of £17.80 per hour (including 21% shift premium), with potential to rise to £19.19 per hour after training
- 37-hour work week with a three-shift rotation and opportunities for overtime at agreed rates
- Generous leave package: 26 days plus 7 UK bank holidays, increasing to 27 days after 2 years and 28 days after 10 years
