Our client are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team over in Leamington Spa. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Perform scheduled preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems
- Identify and resolve equipment faults to ensure continuous production
- Interpret mechanical and electrical schematics to support maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Support and optimise production machinery, including presses, robotic systems, and PLC-controlled equipment
- Contribute to the setup and commissioning of new machinery
- Uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards in all maintenance activities
Qualifications & Requirements - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Completed apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (e.g., HNC) in mechanical or electrical engineering (or recognised international equivalent)
- Practical experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of presses, robotic systems, and PLC controls
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical schematics
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to remain composed and work independently or collaboratively under pressure
