Our client based in Oxford are currently recruiting for a facilities Engineer to join their team. As a Facilities Engineer, you will support a wide range of maintenance activities, ensuring buildings, services, and equipment operate at peak performance. This Facilities Engineer role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to both day-to-day operations and exciting in-house projects.

Key Responsibilities - Facilities Engineer

  • Maintain and repair building and machinery issues to a high standard
  • Complete Facilities Job Requests per SLA prioritizing Health and Safety concerns
  • Support and perform periodic preventive maintenance tasks
  • Update records of all work activities and tasks completed
  • Assist with projects within and outside the Facilities department

Qualifications & Requirements - Facilities Engineer

  • GCSE or equivalent in English Maths and Science or international equivalents (e.g., O-levels or other secondary education credentials) to accommodate diverse educational backgrounds
  • Recognized electrical qualifications (City & Guilds BTEC national or equivalent in electrical engineering)
  • Previous experience in a facilities or electrical engineering role
  • Strong technical aptitude with excellent fault-finding skills
  • Proficient in MS Office with good communication abilities
