Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Job Location: Sedgefield

Pay Range: £30,000 - £36,000 DOE

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 Hours Monday to Friday - 8.30am - 4.30pm

We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer with a strong background working with Plant or Heavy Machinery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their day to day activities whilst ensuring all compliance and environmental regulations are followed at all times.

What you'll be doing:

      Diagnosing faults on machinery, repair and test

Use PDA to receive instructions

Maintaining quality whilst aiming to complete work at set time frames

Ensure all safety standards are maintained when maintaining and after.

Be able to provide full written descriptions on all work carried out

Be able to talk about repairs and vehicle concerns directly with the customer

Qualifications and Experience:

      NVQ Level 3 (Mechanical, Electrical or Plant based) or Time Served

Full UK Driving Licence Required for this role

Ability to work independently

Ability to use handheld PDA

Ability to complete and sign off job cards

High attention to detail and quality control

What we can offer:

      Overtime paid at time and a half (once core hours have been completed)

Double time on Sundays
