Job Title: Mobile Service Technician

Location: Burwell

Pay Range/details: £28,000 to £37,000

Contract Type: Permanent

We are partnering with a leading company in the equipment services industry to offer an exciting opportunity for a skilled Mobile Service Technician to join their team.

This Mobile Service Technician role will be part of the technical support team, providing exceptional repair and service solutions to customers. As a Mobile Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support, troubleshooting, and repair services at customer locations across the UK, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction with premium equipment and services.

Key Responsibilities – Mobile Service Technician

  • Carry out servicing and repairs on Toro and other manufacturers’ equipment as required by customers
  • Diagnose repair faults effectively (mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic)
  • Represent the company and product brands professionally when dealing with customers
  • Maintain high levels of customer service for all support queries and requests
  • Keep accurate records of service/repair work, customer visits, and working time
  • Take ownership of customer problems and respond promptly to issues
  • Ensure safe working practices both in the workshop and at customer locations
  • Escalate complex issues to the Service Manager with detailed job sheets
  • Relay customer parts requirements efficiently to the parts team or Service Manager
  • Maintain a professional appearance and clean vehicle condition
  • Attend product and technical training events as required

Qualifications & Requirements – Mobile Service Technician

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent software
  • Relevant technical experience or qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent vocational training)
