Omega are supporting a leading facilities management provider in their search for a Refrigeration Engineer working on commercial refrigeration equipment. The right Refrigeration Engineer will be the first line in all service and maintenance throughout allocated sites. They will also effectively maintain service and repair Refrigeration Equipment in customer locations and aid HVAC equipment containing refrigeration circuits.
Key Responsibilities - Refrigeration Engineer
Identify faults and carry out effective repairs on commercial refrigeration equipment.Communicate professionally with customers on site and coordinate with internal service administration teams.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new products, technical updates, and product developments.Handle engineer and customer queries over the phone, offering clear and accurate guidance.Report product issues and work closely with QC and Service Managers on product improvements and safety matters.
Qualifications & Requirements - Refrigeration Engineer
Time served apprenticeship with an NVQ / City & Guilds refrigeration qualification.F-Gas Category 1 certification (C&G 2079 / CITB refrigerant handling).Strong refrigeration, electrical, mechanical and diagnostic skills, with proven experience in fault ? finding and problem ? solving.Good refrigeration knowledge, including commercial systems and electrical safety awareness.Ability to read technical drawings and apply relevant Health & Safety legislation.Hydrocarbon experience (desired but not essential).

Key Responsibilities - Maintenance Electrician
Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary. Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times. Deliver reactive and planned fire alarm system maintenance. Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairs.Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement. The successful candidate will play a key role in servicing, maintaining, and installing air conditioning systems while contributing to the continued success of a highly reputable organisation.
Key Responsibilities - Air Conditioning Engineer
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of air conditioning and HVAC systems across commercial sites.Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently on split systems, VRV/VRF units, multi-split systems, and associated ventilation equipment.Undertake installation, commissioning, and testing of air conditioning systems in line with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.Ensure all work is completed safely and compliantly, adhering to F-Gas regulations, health & safety policies, and company procedures.Complete service reports, job sheets, and compliance documentation accurately, providing clear updates on works carried out and any remedial actions required.Build strong working relationships with clients and site teams, delivering a high standard of customer service while supporting the successful delivery of maintenance and project works.On call rota - £150 a week plus minimum 4 hours at 1.5x for any call outs (If it falls on bank holidays you will get a day in lieu)Working hours - start at 7, finish at 15.30 - 8 hours on site (Some flex).
Qualifications & Requirements - Air Conditioning Engineer
Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer within commercial maintenance, service, and installation environments.Strong working knowledge of split, multi-split, VRV/VRF, and HVAC systems, including fault finding and repair.F-Gas Category 1 certification is essential.Relevant industry qualifications such as City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent). (Desirable)Good understanding of health & safety regulations, compliance standards, and safe systems of work within commercial environments.Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
