This role supports the development and validation of new products through advanced 3D scanning, measurement, and reporting activities. Working closely with Design, Tooling, and Quality functions, you will play a key part in ensuring components meet specification throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities – Graduate Metrology Engineer
3D Scanning & Measurement:
Develop measurement programmes for moulded child parts using PolyWorks.Work with measurement technicians to complete scans and generate FAIR/CTS reports.Produce measurement reports for every drawing revision and modification.Ensure all child parts have validated 3D scanning programmes and documented results.Quality & APQP Support:
Provide CTS data to project teams as soon as parts are available.Issue FAIR documentation for all moulded components at drawing release.Verify CTS corrections and drawing modifications beyond Rev A.Complete first off inspection reports for all moulded parts.Design & Engineering Collaboration:
Liaise with Design to optimise measurement features and tolerances in line with DIN16742.Report deviations to the tooling project team for inclusion in CTS.Support drawing updates and tolerance reviews for moulded components.Continuous Improvement:
Support improvements in 3D scanning processes and reporting methods.Investigate assembly related issues as agreed with the Quality Manager.Analysis & Reporting:
Support statistical studies when required (subject to Quality Manager approval).Provide measurement input for CTS and new product introduction activities.Customer Support:

Our client, a global leader in advanced engineering and motion control solutions, is seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician to join their Wolverhampton site. This role focuses on the maintenance, upgrade, and sustainment of complex machinery and test equipment systems, with a strong emphasis on hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
Working closely with both the Site Maintenance and Test Equipment Sustainment teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities – Hydraulic Technician
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and test equipment systems
• Diagnose and resolve faults impacting production, quality, and efficiency
• Repair machinery and equipment down to component level, often with limited documentation
• Work across hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and control systems
• Maintain configuration and operational readiness of machinery and test systems
• Produce and maintain maintenance and fault-finding documentation
• Supervise and manage third-party contractors on-site
• Use maintenance management systems (e.g. Pirana) to track work and report outcomes
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities

Qualifications & Requirements – Hydraulic Technician
• Level 3 qualification in Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic Engineering or Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience maintaining hydromechanical machinery or similar equipment
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
• Basic understanding of electrical principles
• Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Familiarity with maintenance systems such as Pirana or similar (desirable)
• Experience with JIRA or similar systems (advantageous)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
• Additional certifications in areas such as Hydraulic Safety, PSSR, BFPA, NFPC, or Fluid Power are beneficial
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and within a team
