Position: CNC setter (PM shift)

Location: Cheltenham

Type of work: permanent

Salary: £36,434 inclusive of shift allowance  

Hours of work: 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday

Start time and finish times: 14:00 – 23:30 (Monday to Thursday)

We are now seeking multiple CNC setters to work for an Engineering & Manufacturing company based in Cheltenham. The appropriate candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating the CNC machines with Fanuc controls to manufacture precision engineering products.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting and operating CNC machines with Fanuc controls
  • Working on technical engineering drawings
  • Working with aluminium and stainless steel
  • Ability to use measuring tools
  • Ensuring excellent quality through the inspection of parts using measuring equipment such as gauges, verniers and micrometres.

Requirement:

  • Ideally, previous experience in setting and operating CNC Milling or lathes machines with Fanuc controls
  • Ability to change tools and adjust offsets
  • Ability to use measuring tools
  • Ability to work the PM shift.
