Supplier Quality Manager required by industry leading engineering company which is undergoing significant growth. The successful Supplier Quality Manager will be responsible for leading and manager the Supplier Quality team and ensuring suppliers’ compliance with company and industry standards.
Main Duties: Supplier Quality Manager
- Leading and managing the Supplier Quality Team.
- Managing the approval process for new suppliers.
- Overseeing supplier performance and compliance to industry standards.
- Auditing of suppliers and making recommendations.
- Implementing corrective actions when required.
- Driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.
- Developing and implementing supplier selection strategies.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Supplier Quality Manager
- A background in a similar role, gained in a manufacturing or engineering or equivalent environment, ideally Aerospace.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- A lead auditor in ISO9001 or AS9100.
- A strong working knowledge of root cause investigation techniques.
- Expert knowledge of Aerospace quality principles and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to travel to meet the needs of the business.
