Omega Resource Group are currently recruiting for a warehouse team leader based at one of its key clients. The client is a family run logistics operation based in Gloucester and the role on offer is unique with many cross-skilling opportunities available.

The role of the Warehouse Team Leader is to assist in the quality and operation of the warehouse, through continually reviewing systems and processes to ensure maximum efficiency, quality and productivity. They will also ensure that all inbound and outbound operations are performed in line with processes and procedures, and ensure customer KPI’s are met. The successful candidate must have demonstrable team leading/ team managing experience that can be utilised.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities will include:


  • Ability to challenge non conformance to trained practices and escalate appropriately

  • Ability to create, implement and review processes and training documentation

  • Approachable manner

  • Ensuring all employees adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety procedures

  • Ensuring employees carry out their duties in a safe, correct and efficient manner

  • Organising all resources available effectively and safely, maximising productivity

  • Previous management experience is essential

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred

  • Proficient with MS Office packages

  • Strong and relaxed communicator

  • Strong organisational skills

The hours of work are based on a 4-on/4-off shift pattern all based 06:00-18:00. Full training and continued development is on hand to ensure career growth. The hourly rate is £10.60 with access to a subsidised canteen, staff discount and free carpark among other benefits.
