Trainee Production Operator

Position: Trainee Assembler

Pay rate: Initial rate is £10.92/hr rising to £11.31/hr after training

Location: Gloucester

Working hours: 39 hours per week

Working pattern: Monday to Thursday 07.45 am to 16.45 and on Fridays 07.45 am to 12.45 pm

Type of position: Temp to Perm

We are now seeking to recruit Trainee Production operators to work for a defence and aerospace components and system manufacturing business based in Gloucester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a person with good dexterity to develop assembly skills in aerospace and defence sector.

The appropriate Trainee Production operative will have good manual skills and will be willing to learn.

Key duties and responsibilities of Trainee Assembler will involve:

• Set up and operate machines such as fly press operations, corrugating and dimpling

• Work at the bench carry out manual assembly

• Inspect products for compliance with specifications and quality requirements.

The appropriate Trainee Assembler will have:

• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

• Good dexterity skills

• Keen attention to detail

This position is also suitable for anyone with experience in: Warehouse Operative, Factory Operative, Assembly Operative, Tool Operator, Welder, Machine Operator, Production Operator and Inspector
