Job Role

Reporting to the Test Supervisor the Test Technician shall test and inspect manufactured products against defined procedures and parameters. Diagnose and resolve functional electrical/mechanical problems and appreciate the technical aspects of manufactured products, with a view to diagnosing and resolving test failures

Duties

-Test all products using test and bench equipment
-Testing products against specific test procedures and parameters
-Identify the cause and support the resolution of test failures
-Perform other duties including but not limited to; assembly, soldering, first off inspections
-Participate in departmental projects as required

Experience/Qualifications

-Understanding & use of electronic components, PCB construction, general assembly and test methods/procedures
-Understanding & use of test equipment and software
-Interpret technical drawings, circuit diagrams and technical documents
-Knowledge of inspection, quality processes and systems
