We are now seeking to recruit Spares Sales Administrator to work for an engineering manufacturing company based in Gloucester. This is an exciting opportunity for a customer driven person who would be responsible for handling of customer enquiries and processing orders for spare parts.
The appropriate spares administrator would be responsible for
Compilation of quotations, order acknowledgements and responding to any customers queries concerning spare parts or delivery.
Working as part of the Spares Sales Team you will be expected to liaise with customers on a one-to-one basis by email and telephone in a professional manner.
Understand basic engineering drawings and schedules for the purpose of identifying customer requirements.
Where necessary, will be required to estimate the selling prices of complete assemblies by reference to drawings.
Accurate data entry and pricing calculations using the relevant systems.
To ensure that all relevant documentation is always completed accurately.
You may also be required to undertake additional tasks or duties from time to time and which are reasonably within your capabilities.
The appropriate Spares Administrator will be expected to have:
Strong knowledge of MS office Suite – Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Meticulous in approach to all work.
Ability to maintain close working relationships with both internal and external customers.
Able to manage own time and simultaneous duties effectively.
Ability to understand basic engineering drawings.
Knowledge of an MRP system
