Omega Resource Group is recruiting for a client, a Software Development Specialist , to join their team in the area of development and digital transformation.
Software Development Specialist
Professional Experience :
5 to 10 years of development experience and must be comfortable hosting workshops and coaching sessions.
Work closely with different teams to detect areas of improvement and make recommendations;
Support teams in adopting continuous integration practices;
Be a driver of software development best practices, promoting clean code conventions and proper use of available tools;
Implement a testing culture within teams and the community, driving TDD and BDD methodologies;
Design and implement automated testing;
Work with nearshore peers to align best practices to be adopted across the board;
Organise workshops and coaching sessions for software development and testing;
Gain a very good understanding of the company organisation and be able to challenge it;
Be the driver for change and adoption of best practices in software development and its tools;
Develop and gather indicators to measure and show programme progression;
Be proactive in continuous process improvement.
Knowledge in software development best practices (Design Patterns, TDD, BDD, coding conventions, continuous integration);
Experience with testing frameworks (Cucumber, Selenium, JUnit and JMeter);
Experience in Java and Java frameworks;
Highly motivated to support change and face adversity;
Work well with multicultural teams and locations;
Experience in Agile context;
Knowledge in Continuous Integration best practices;
Fluency in English is a must;
