£40,000 - £45,000 (OTE £60,000 +)

My client are part of an international group seeking an electrically biased commissioning engineer to join their team in the North East. A background in a heavy industrial industry such as oil and gas, marine or mining would be advantageous.

Experience/Qualifications – Electrical Site Engineer

• Electrical time served or qualified engineer

• PLC fault finding and ideally programming experience

• Commissioning knowledge

• Experience with breakdowns and working on site

Responsibilities – Site Electrical Engineer

• Commissioning of Electrical equipment, LV switchgear, Motor Control Centres, PLC panels and supporting commissioning of functionally

• Service and breakdown of equipment with electrical focus/bias.

• Quarterly/Annual inspections and Testing (initially of equipment commissioned)

• Site based support for PLC and electrical issues.

• Design and software for small projects, with design office support as required
