Position: Service Engineer

Location: Midlands

Salary: £35,000 + Company Vehicle

Employment type: Permanent 

 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Engineer to join a globally recognised and growing manufacturing business.

This role will require you communicate clearly and demonstrate patience when training customers in effective use of equipment. You will also be required to work with the Sales Department to communicate opportunities through upgrades.

You will be required to travel within the UK for this role and report to the Service Support Manager.

 

Responsibilities – Service Engineer

  • Telephone technical support and Validation visits

  • User product training

  • Fault diagnosis and repair ensuring reoccurring issues are resolved

  • Support to the Customer with returns

  • Communication with the sales department on any opportunities through customer interaction 

 

Experience/Qualifications Required – Service Engineer

  • Clean Full Driving License

  • Willingness to travel within the UK and some overseas travel

  • Experience of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering

  • Experience as a Field Service Engineer

  • Microsoft package use
