Senior Process Engineer

Role: Senior Process Engineer

This is an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished Process Engineer to join a business at a Senior level and have real impact on future growth.

The primary responsibility of the post holder will be to deliver fluid process systems for a range of projects in the Offshore Oil and Gas sector.

You’ll be technically minded with excellent appreciation of component level technology and a firm grasp on fluid dynamics.

Duties:

• Support the transfer of technology and introduction of new products to a multi-disciplined engineering team

• Support value engineering and standardization of the core product portfolio

• Attend and participate in bid clarification meetings, technical discussions, project kick off meetings and provide process input.

• Present to clients and other industry professionals

• Perform simulation studies including heat and mass balance sheets.

• Manage and execute conceptual and optimisation studies

• Develop PFDs and P&IDs to suit process requirements

• Calculate and size process equipment including pressure vessels, 3-Phase Separators, filters, pumps, and other key process equipment.

• Perform hydraulic calculations on multiphase fluid flow pipelines.

• Select and size control and manual valves to suit process requirements

Background:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Process or Chemical Engineering

• Knowledge of process simulation (Hysys, Unisim etc.) 

• Knowledge of AutoCAD

• Knowledge of NACE and Norsok Standards 

• Strong experience in Excel, including VBA programming

• Exposure to Computational Fluid Dynamics

• Computer literacy

• Excellent communication skills
