Position: Sales Engineer – Lighting

Location: Midlands Area

Job Type: Permanent

My client, a nationwide company that design, manufacture, and distribute a range of luminaries and lighting.

Role and Responsibilities –

In this role, you will be looking to continually develop business relationships with suppliers and customers to extensively increase new clients to gain success within the business. You will be covering the Leicestershire/Northamptonshire area. Other responsibilities include:

  • Identifying potential clients and requirements in the market and increase sales turnover.

  • To have on going competitor awareness, new products, prices, samples, literature and any other information and to feedback to Regional Sales Manager.

  • To liaise with various departments within the Company to ensure satisfactory customer support/backup.

Experience or Qualifications –

  • Previous experience in a similar sales role (ideally within lighting)

  • Extensive in achieving and succeeding sales targets

  • Top area of knowledge of how to gain clients and potential new customers.

Candidates who currently are a Sales Engineer, Sales Planner or Business Development Manager would be suitable for this position.
