My client a leading steel fabricator in the local area is currently looking to hire a Robot Welding Programmer to join them on an ongoing basis, and be responsible for programming their new Fanuc robot welder.

Ideally you will have experience using robot welders with Fanuc controls however other software will be considered.  You will posses the ability to identify issues and rectify where required as well as the ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

Freehand welding experience would be advantage and robot programming experience is essential.

• Setting, operating and programming robots in accordance with company procedures, to meet customer requirements

• Loading various components into robot jigs and fixtures

• Carrying out quality checks and working to strict deadlines

• Keeping a clean working environment and general production duties
