Overview - QA Engineer

As an individual decision maker, you will be expected to assist the QA function to guide, advise and drive improvements throughout ISE QMS function of the site.  Where authorised and requested you will also be expected to deputise for the ISE Eastern Hemisphere QA manager, and carry out their duties as required. You will be responsible for the QA inspection release of final product from the ISE QMS processes, and will also play a key role in managing the relationship between Third Party organisations and customers during product inspections, audits and host such in the absence or deputise for the QA manager where required.

Responsibilities - QA Engineer

  • Be responsible for the QA final release inspection of aftermarket and product and product line in line with production schedule.

  • Assist in the planning of and conduct and report internal and where required supplier audits.

  • Support Aftermarket, ISE Ops and Product lines in the management of third party and customer audits and inspection activities.

  • Support the QA function and ISE and product lines in the management and continual improvement of the QMS.

  • Review, revise, approve and publish QMS documentation as necessary for QA function, or to assist departmental managers/cell leaders in their QMS responsibilities.

  • Monitor and drive the CAPA and NCR processes ensuring that actions taken are effective prior to closure.

  • Manage the compliance of Third Party Framework agreements with respect to aftermarket, ensuring compliance to such conditions.

  • Work with third party organisation in the continued development of the written scheme of examination for mobile equipment integrity.

  • Assist internal personnel in conducting their duties and perform final QA inspection release of equipment under the third party framework agreements.

  • Host CAPA/NCR meetings and liaise with appropriate staffing involved to ensure timely, effective actions are implemented.

Experience Required - QA Engineer

  • Extensive experience of ISO9001/API & QMS management and development

  • Extensive knowledge of ISO17025

  • Working experience of CE/ DNV/EN/ISO, lifting regulatory requirements with respect to certification and marking.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

  • Experience of QA and certification within precision manufacturing and oil and gas environment

  • Knowledge and understanding of EN10204 / ISO10474

  • Knowledge of Quality and Quality Control plan development and use
