My client who operates across multiple industries within the manufacturing and engineering sector are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. The role will be Chesterfield based but the successful candidate must be capable of travelling where required.

Role and Responsibilities – Project Manager:

• Accountable for the delivery of the project in line with the Project Schedule

• During the project planning phase, work with Sales and Finance departments to set up an as sold Project Budget.

• Responsible for delivering or exceeding the project gross margin as set in the as sold Project Budget.

• Conduct weekly project meetings with key members of the project team to discuss project status and all risks, issues, actions and decisions

• Assist the project Director in the continuous development and improvement of all project execution procedures and work practices

• Ensure all projects are executed in line with company health and safety/compliance requirements

• Assist the Sales department with commercial and project execution for new proposals

Requirements – Project Manager:

• Degree qualified, preferably in an engineering discipline

• Significant Project Management Experience

• Extensive experience in Plant / Product engineering

• Formal and recognised Project Management qualifications highly desirable
