Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Quedgeley

Pay Range/details: £11.00 - £11.50 per hour, dependant on experience

Contract Type: Permanent

My client, based in Quedgeley, is looking for a Production Operative/Stores Person to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for assembling parts, paint spraying and general stores duties.

Key Responsibilities – Production Operative

  • Light assembly of parts, accessories and looms to products in accordance with the engine specification
  • Spraying engines
  • Picking and packing parts orders ready for dispatch
  • Excepting deliveries & ensuring products are put away correctly
  • Checking orders against delivery notes and filing paperwork
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Ensure stores/workshop areas are kept clean and tidy

Qualifications & Requirements – Production Operative

  • Hardworking
  • Enthusiastic
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Full, UK licence (due to driving company vehicles on occasion)
  • Counterbalance forklift licence and basic spraying skills would be desired but not essential

What we can offer – Production Operative

  • On site parking  
  • Competitive hourly rate of £11.00 - £11.50 per hour, depending on experience
  • Hours of work - Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-5:00pm (with 40-minute lunch break) & Friday, 8:00am-3:10pm (with 30-minute lunch break) (40 hour working week)
  • 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays (increasing by 1 day per year after 3 years of service to a maximum of 23 days) - 5 days are used for the Christmas shutdown each year
  • Pension - 3% employer contribution & 5% employee contribution
