40 hours a week on a long-term assignment as a Machine Operative, based in Stonehouse:

This role is based on a Monday to Friday basis, 6am-14.00pm, 14.00pm-22.00pm, 22.00pm-6am. Rotating every two weeks.

Pay rates:

Standard: £10.30 - £10.74 p/h

Overtime: £13.37 - £17.82 p/h

The role: as a Machine Operative your role will involve running and operating a machine, making offsets to make sure the product your running stays in spec, visually inspecting the finished product after your machine, and also using tools and gauges to make sure the machine is set right, whilst keeping your machine and area tidy following FLM (first line maintenance).

We are looking for people that are willing to learn and have the motivation to do more within the business and further their career. Parts of the role can include heavy lifting but not all, however you must be able to stand for long periods of time. This role is perfect for someone with experience working in a Warehouse, production, assembly or factory environment.

As a Machine Operative your duties could include operating various types of machines, loading and unloading parts, assembling small components by hand, ensuring the quality of parts being made and final inspection checks. Parts of the role can include heavy lifting but not all, however you must be able to stand for long periods of time.

The ideal Machine Operative, will have experience in a factory, warehouse, assembly or production environment however full training is provided. Applicants need to be available for full time work and able to work an 8 hour rotating shift pattern:

2 weeks of nights (10pm-6am)
2 weeks of afternoons (2pm-10pm)
2 weeks of mornings (6am-2pm)
