Position: Paint Sprayer

Location: Bournemouth

Type of role: 6-month contract with view to extend.

Hourly rate: £22.13 per hour PAYE or £28.48 Umbrella

Working week: Monday to Thursday 6: am to 6:00 pm

Holiday: 20 days plus 8 Bank Holidays

An exciting opportunity has raised for 2 Paint Sprayers to join aerospace manufacturing company based in Bournemouth. This is initially 6-month contract role, however for the right Paint Sprayer there will be an opportunity for further extension or potentially permanent position.

Responsibilities of Paint Sprayer

• The appropriate Paint Sprayer would be responsible for painting of the interior of aerospace parts, therefore high standard of paint spraying is paramount.
• You will use 2k paints, water-based paints, solvent metallics, gloss clearcoats, as well as matt and silk clearcoats.
• Working with gravity fed spray guns and pressure fed spray guns.
• Carry out masking, basic panel preparation, working to technical drawings.
• Fill out job cards once the work is completed.
• Work to company quality and paint specification guidelines.
• Producing inclusion free finishes

Requirement of paint sprayer  

• Previous experience in aerospace, composite or automotive paint spraying of parts.
• Ability to use 2k paints, water-based paints, solvent metallics, gloss clearcoats, as well as matt and silk clearcoats.
• Previous experience of using gravity fed spray guns and pressure fed spray guns.
