We are recruiting for a category Global market leader in manufacturing continuing to grow. Working within the central factory engineering team at a large manufacturing plant .

It's a proactive, technical mechanical maintenance improvement role - it might make a good change form your typical fire fighting role?

-You will help deliver and develop the asset maintenance strategy

-Responsible for a combination of planned/reactive maintenance and technical challenges to ensure maximum process efficiency.

-Accountability to deliver both planned and reactive maintenance services.

-Monitor plant efficiency, reliability and capability of all plant and equipment, identifying areas of under-performance or opportunity and implement plans to deliver improvement projects.

-Use the maintenance system to ensure agreed maintenance/ improvement work is completed.

-Recommend and implement electrical changes to machine operation and procedures.

-Recommend and deliver improvements to process and machinery.

Is this You? 

-Capable of leading from the front within a team ensuring the efficient running of a continuous process.

• Able to manage multiple priorities and ensure a balance of time is spent on improvement as well as firefighting

• Able to ensure maintenance works planned to minimise impact on production operations and have no impact on customer service

• Apprentice trained Mechanical Engineer with equivalent in HNC/NVQ Level 3 minimum qualifications having gained experience in a fast paced manufacturing maintenance environment

Ideally you will have gained experience from within heavy manufacturing , FMCG, Chemicals, pharma or a fast moving manufacturing environment such as automotive. However, qualified engineers will be considered as full support and training is given.
