Our client is a leading manufacturer of bespoke machinery are looking for mechanical fitters to join the company and be involved in the delivery of capital equipment projects from build in the factory through to installation at customer site.

Duties

• Following and working from mechanical engineering diagrams/drawings
• Installing pneumatic systems
• Complete assemblies to the required cost, quality, and delivery standards
• Using hand and power tools
• Completing work in a timely and efficient manner ensuring its of high quality
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing
• Travel as required by the business to support customer needs

Skills/Experience

• Previous experience in mechanical fitting
• 3-5 years recent experience assembling complex fully automated product handing solutions incorporating conveyor systems
• Experience of installing pneumatic systems
• Ability to work both independently and/or part of a team
• Be efficient, enthusiastic, and methodical in your work
• Apprentice trained or relevant engineering qualification
