Job Title: Electrical Fitter

Location: Cheltenham

Pay Range/details: Up to £14 per hour + overtime

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Monday-Thursday 08.00 to 17.00, Friday 08.00 to 14.00

 

Specialise in the design, build and installation of bespoke control systems, factory automation systems, vision inspection, plastic container handling and robotics. You will have the opportunity to bring our customers’ automation aspirations to life, working across a variety of industry sectors and on some ground-breaking projects. A lot of what we do is typically bespoke to our customers and to date there’s not been an automation challenge we’ve not been able to support or that we have walked away from.

 

Key Responsibilities – Electrical Fitter

  • Building control panels for industrial automation machinery
  • Wiring for packaging / inspection machinery
  • Testing and inspection of the control systems
  • Maintaining good audit paperwork
  • Interpreting technical drawings and providing feedback on errors/suggesting changes to originator
  • Ensure good quality control measures are carried out consistently using check sheet approval systems against completed control panels
  • Provide other ad-hoc workshop / site work support as required

 

Qualifications & Requirements – Electrical Fitter

  • 18th edition preferable
  • Interpret electrical drawings
  • Good understanding of industrial control systems / PLCs
  • Sound experience of panel building and machine wiring
  • Understanding of industrial networks (EtherNET/IP, ProfiNET)
