Role: Mechanical Design Engineer

Salary: £34,000 - £38,000

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Designer to join a successful business in the Gloucestershire area.

You will be a talented designer that can demonstrate key expertise in component, assembly and tooling design.

Duties and Responsibilities

• 3D CAD modelling on Solidworks
• Development of components, sub-assemblies and tooling.
• Working on projects from concept through to manufacture
• Undertake GD&T on design solutions
• Work with external manufacturing partners and other suppliers.
• Working closely with manufacturing departments to ensure manufacturability.
• Producing BOM’s for all design work.

Person Requirements

• Minimum HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering
• Ideally B(Eng) Mechanical Engineering
• Proficient in the use of Solidworks
