Role: Mechanical CAD Designer

This is an excellent opportunity to join a talented team of Mechanical Engineering professionals offering expertise across Oil and Gas, Aerospace and Renewable Energy.

As a Senior CAD Designer, you will be familiar working on complex R&D projects offering key expertise in complex mechanical system design.

Exposure to the Oil and Gas sector with an emphasis on equipment would be highly advantageous.

 

Duties:

  • 3D CAD modelling in Solidworks
  • Development of components, sub-assemblies and sheet metal designs,
  • Working on projects from concept through to manufacture
  • Work with external manufacturing partners and other suppliers.
  • Producing BOM’s for all design work.

Background:

  • Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks
  • FEA exposure 
  • BEng Mechanical Engineering
  • Confident working with external partners
  • Confident working in a collaborative team
