The client manufactures, supplies, installs and services specialist bathing, patient handling and lifting systems for the disabled and elderly. They have a 28 year track record as a market leader in our field, growing well and with ambition to continue the growth process.

If you have 2 or more years of CAD / technical drawing experience and want to create products that directly improve people’s lives, then this is a perfect opportunity.

Role Requirements:

  • 2 + years’ experience in a CAD, technical drawing or engineering administration focused role

  • Good experience of Solidworks 3D modelling & technical part drawings

  • Experience of implementing product changes within a formal change process

  • Ability to revise & update technical drawings within Solidworks

  • Manage and update Bills of Material (BoM), ideally knowledge of SAP Business One

  • Excellent communication with suppliers & production teams

  • Good level of technical procedure writing & capture

  • Ideally hold a technical engineering qualification

Role Responsibilities:

  • Generate and manage change requests within our ISO 9001 / 13485 quality system

  • Implement product changes through 3D CAD updates, technical drawings & BoM changes

  • Create and update standard operating procedures (SOP) for production teams

  • Working with suppliers to ensure quality parts & timely delivery

  • Supporting the R&D team to deliver new projects

  • Cross business collaboration & effective communication with other teams

  • Process & continuous product improvement
