This is an excellent opportunity to join a talented team of Mechanical Engineering professionals offering expertise across Oil and Gas, Aerospace and Renewable Energy.

As a Senior CAD Designer, you will be familiar working on complex R&D projects offering key expertise in complex mechanical system design.

Exposure to the Oil and Gas sector with an emphasis on equipment would be highly advantageous.

Duties:

• Working on R&D of new technology
• Detailed design expertise:
  • GD&T
  • Material property knowledge
  • Subassembly and structural design
  • Configuration Control

• 3D CAD modelling and 2D drawing
• Working on projects from concept through to test and release.

Background:

• Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks
• Basic FEA exposure (automated)
• HNC/HND/BEng Mechanical Engineering
• Confident working with external partners
• Confident working in a collaborative team
