Job Title: Marketing Administrator                                         

Location: Swindon

Pay Range/details: Up to circa £26,000

Contract Type: Permanent


My client, who are a leading automated machinery manufacturer, have a new vacancy for a marketing administrator to join a small but growing team, with exciting activities and projects in the pipeline to be a part of and even take ownership of.

You’ll be employed onsite in Swindon, with the possibility to work hybrid after 6 months.

This is an entry level or junior position, suitable for someone who has a marketing degree or qualification but with little to no experience, or someone with limited experience who is looking to grow their career.


Key Responsibilities – Marketing Administrator

  • Assist the Marketing Manager in organizing and managing various projects.

  • Conduct market research and analyse reports and feedback questionnaires.

  • Manage the advertising and PR schedule, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.

  • Update spreadsheets and inventories with statistical, financial, and non-financial data.

  • Assist in organizing and attending trade shows and events.

  • Support the organization and execution of traditional and digital marketing campaigns.

  • Prepare and deliver promotional presentations to support sales teams.

  • Manage the company's online social media channels, including content creation.

  • Ensure regular updates of the company's website content.

  • Write marketing literature, including brochures, press releases, and customer success stories.

Qualifications & Requirements – Marketing Administrator

  • Familiarity with market research techniques and databases.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, marketing computer software, and online application tools (e.g., OneDrive, CRM tools, Google Analytics, Hootsuite).

  • CIM or Marketing Qualification (desirable)
