Area or Plant responsibility

We are hiring a newly created role for a Site Maintenance Team Lead responsible to the Site Engineering Manager within an FMCG Fill and Pack environment

Your new challenge:

•You will lead the engineering maintenance function in your plant, providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service

•Recruiting, leading, coaching and developing a team of multi-skilled engineers, setting and delivering KPI’s; striving for world class standards

•Responsible for ensuring that our facilities, assets, and machinery produce products to their maximum efficiency and output. This includes leading a Total Preventative Maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical and automation equipment

• Implement standardised preventative, corrective and condition-based maintenance systems; a TPM system for the site

•Assisting in driving capital projects for the site – we are installing and commissioning high speed fill and pack lines

•You will implement and manage both maintenance and capital expenditure budgets

Is this you?

•A recognised engineering qualification, with experience of leading engineers

•An FMCG background is preferred but not essential at all

•Excellent Leadership Skills

•Lean Manufacturing experience – RCM/TPM/OEE and related lean techniquesDE72 2BJ

•Demonstrating experience within an FMCG , manufacturing or Process engineering environment in a leadership role

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to inspire and lead teams

•A proven track record of meeting agreed engineering maintenance performance targets
