Position: LCV Commercial Executive

Type of position: Permanent

Salary: £25000 to £32500

Location: Solihull

We are now seeking to recruit LCV Commercial Executive to work for a busy fleet maintenance company based in Solihull. The appropriate candidate would be responsible for working closely with transport managers providing day to day support and advice on cost control on LCV vehicles hire. The appropriate candidate would have a good understanding of LCV vehicles, including product range, legislation, compliance and payloads.


  • Ensure that complex quotations and orders for LCV’s are compiled accurately and fit for customer purpose
  • Able to build and develop strong external relationships with our Customer, Supplier Network and Suppliers reallocation Partner to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Work closely with our Engineering team and Transport Managers to support new quotes and orders providing LCV pricing and understand customer requirements.
  • Present to customers on how we can support their LCV fleet requirements including external visits where required.
  • Review LCV catalogue.
  • Understand the performance data, with routine analysis of related qualitative and quantitative measures, including KPIs and SLAs reporting, identifying and reviewing trends and making recommendations for improvement to suppliers and the customer
  • Provide tools and techniques to support individual and team improvement, including skills and task matrices. Make recommendations for areas of improvement on a team and individual basis and provide support as appropriate to development planning.


  • Knowledge of Light Commercial Vehicles including current product range, legislation, compliance and payloads
  • Understanding of LCV conversions including Tipper, Dropside, Luton, Curtain side, Minibus & Refrigeration plus racking, ply lining & livery
  • Customer driven with exceptional proven customer service experience. Ability to communicate at all levels and adapt style / approach where required.
  • Previous experience in the Automotive is KEY for this role
  • Proven ability with MS Excel and PowerPoint to collate, routinely analyse and report data/information to senior management and Customer
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable

You will be expected to work in the office 5 days a week for the first 6 weeks, however after 6 weeks of work you will be offered opportunity of a hybrid working
