Position: IT Service Delivery Manager
Location: Doncaster / agile Home based
Type of position: permanent
We are now seeking to recruit the IT Service Delivery Manager to work for our busy client based in Doncaster. The appropriate candidate would be responsible of the day to day IT operation and infrastructure support requirements, whilst also overseeing IT change and implementation. In addition, you will ensure that IT services are resilient, and that protection is in place for systems failure and breaches of the network security.
Ensure that IT operations are compliant with the relevant ISO standard and other standards and regulations (this include information security standards).
Ensuring IT services are delivered to Service Level Agreements and KPI’s are achieved in service availability and incident resolution times
Managing the IT Service Desk service teams, through Level 1 to Level 3 support, and where required escalation to experts and advisor level
Managing 3rd party suppliers and vendors to ensure IT service delivery and continuity
Performing service reviews and implementing Service Improvement Plans
Creating and implementing a strategy for the deployment of new technology and upgrading existing systems
Performing IT Infrastructure assessments and validations for capacity planning
Managing the implementation and delivery of change through best practice Change processes and governance
Systems and application monitoring as part of the proactive management of the IT estate
Tracking latest IT innovations and keeping abreast of latest cyber security technologies
Ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery is in place and tested on an annual basis.
Communicating with key stakeholders about IT support issues, changes, IT security threats
Complying with the latest regulations and compliance requirements
Communicating IT change and policies to ensure the business in fully inform of IT plans and any impact if might have on business operations or customers.
Experience / Qualifications:
Relevant experience in IT industry
Ideally 5 years’ experience is IT Service Management
Ability to drive and adopt to face paced change
Experience within managing Outsourced IT Services
A Bachelor's degree in a computer science degree or equivalent qualification in a technically related subject.
ITIL or ISO20000 Service Delivery Management
PRINCE2 Project Management
Commercial and budgeting Skills
Good Communication and presentation skills
Stake holder management skills
Problem management and resolution skills
Ability to work from first principals
