Harness & integration Manager



£45,000 - £55,000

Harness & integration Manager required by industry leading Space company, based in Guildford. The successful Harness & integration Manager will be responsible for the design of a range of electrical products and for leading and motivating a team of engineers and technicians to ensure on time delivery of projects.

Main Duties – Harness & integration Manager

  • Designing a range of electrical assemblies and overseeing the build process.
  • Planning and scheduling work to meet project objectives and targets, ensuring that performance outputs are monitored and met.
  • Ensuring adherence to company processes and industry quality standards.
  • Continuous improvement of processes.
  • Providing leadership and line management to include allocation of work, appraisals and personal development, supporting multi-disciplinary teams and proactively resolving issues with your department.
  • Assessing the performance of team members and providing training when required.
  • Succession planning and recruitment to ensure project delivery.
  • Monitoring stock levels and liaising with the procurement team.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Harness & Integration Manager

  • Educated to Degree Level or HND/ HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • A background within a similar Electrical Design role gained within a highly regulated environment (Ideally within Space industry).
  • Previous experience of leading and managing a team.
  • Highly organised, able to thrive in an environment with changing priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • A strong communicator with the ability to influence.
  • The ability to delegate work and provide support to team members.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
