Position: Electronics Manager

Location: Oxfordshire

Job Type: Permanent

Omega is currently working with a privately owned company which provides nanoscale imaging products to some of the worlds leading companies in the semiconductor industry.

Role and Responsibilities:

In this role you will be working as part of a 5 Engineering team to develop existing as well as next generation products.

• Maintain electronic architectures as well as improving the roadmap for future development
• Hands-on with the equipment to assess the performance of concept as well as implemented designs
• Create new electronic solutions and features to improve existing/new products
• Oversee the PCB layout process
• Develop and manage the electronics team
• Support the overall manufacturing by fault finding component shortages and obsolescence

Experience or Qualifications:

• Experience of practical engineering development activities
• Circuit design and PCB layout knowledge/experience
• Strong communicator

Desirable:

• Data acquisitions systems and Instrumentation systems
• Previous background with mentoring an Engineering Team
• Project/Technical Leadership
• Designing of EMC and product compliance
